The finishing of a bar of this texture is done mostly in parts. The bar rail was sprayed with eight coats of external spare finish. After the finish cured it was lightly sanded and another coat was applied.

The bar top itself was covered with five gallons of pour on two-part epoxy. The cabinetry was sprayed with water base finish and several coats of gloss. The bar top was finished with two coats of semi-satin finish. Satin has a wonderful sealed finish and is very durable and maintenance free.
